
Melvin Witten
Mr. Witten is an accomplished senior business strategist with over 20 years of experience in organizational development, arts education, strategic planning, entertainment marketing, and public speaking. He uses his legal expertise to negotiate deals and create solutions that improve operational efficiency.
He is a superior public/motivational speaker and master presenter with demonstrated ability to clarify difficult concepts and inspire audiences.
He has an extensive arts/entertainment background having worked for Warner Bros., Motown Records, the Screen Actors Guild, and Black Entertainment Television (BET). Currently, as Global Business Development Officer for The House of Nobel, he identifies and implements global venue based business and entertainment strategies to benefit long-term brand building and revenue growth. These include the release of “Champagne Philip Nobel” and House of Nobel themed VIP events worldwide. His focus is on enhancing the brand of the highly recognized Nobel name.

His projects have included launching a major toy product in South Africa; producing the first Billboard Jazz Awards; Director of International Marketing with artists like Boyz II Men and Stevie Wonder; Executive Director at Cable TV98 in Washington, DC. A Washington, DC native, he earned his Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law and his BA in Business Management from the University of the District of Columbia. Mr. Witten also has two Executive Management Certifications in Strategic Planning and Persuasive Strategies from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He previously was a professor at Howard Univ. and at the Univ. of the District of Columbia. Mr. Witten is based in Washington, DC.
